The central location between Marbella and Fuengirola ensures that within a radius of 15 km you are surrounded by both large and small towns with all the necessary facilities available. Compared to other cities, Calahonda is a smaller seaside village, but one that offers a lot of peace and tranquility.

Los Olivos Calahonda is a small shopping center on the edge of Calahonda, near Mijas. Here you can make your daily purchases at the local supermarket, pharmacy, press shop and so on.

You will also find El Zoco in Calahonda. This is a multicultural shopping center designed with Arabic architecture. Here you will not only find small shops, but also many restaurants & bars.

If you prefer to pop into commercial stores and find a wider offer, you can go to Marbella or Fuengirola. In addition, in 20 minutes you are in Puerto Banús where you will find numerous designer boutiques.

7. Sports & Leisure

Golf lovers can enjoy themselves at La Siesta Golf. This golf course has 9 holes and is not that big, but on the spot you will get the feeling that you are playing on a much larger domain. The difficulty level here is not too high and from hole 9 you have beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea.In addition, Club de Sol offers the possibility to play tennis, paddle, squash, etc., and there is also an extensive fitness room. After exercising you can relax on the outdoor terrace with a view of the sports fields.

Playa de Calahonda is a very large beach that is about 4.4 kilometers long. Because of the large surface area there are many facilities to be found. There are parts with small buildings where you can find stores and cafes, but also parts that are completely surrounded by nature.
