With no less than 579 blue flags, Spain has been awarded the world’s most beautiful and cleanest beaches. For those of us who do not know the meaning of the Blue Flag: The Blue Flag is an eco-label of the non-profit organization “Foundation for Environmental Education” (FEE). This label has only been awarded to 3372 beaches around the world.
So in addition to their beauty, the beaches are also of the highest quality. On the Costa Del Sol there are no less than 90 blue flags.

Playa Hermosa is a popular beach among many holidaymakers and locals. The beach is relatively small, but has shallow water, which makes it ideal for small children. There are also typical restaurants and shops. It is only 15 minutes from the center of Marbella.
Venus-Bajadilla is the most centrally located beach in Marbella with many bushes and palm trees providing shade. Also here, there is a long boulevard with a lot of nice shops.
